Happy Birthday notes, how much is too much

I read the post, and I see he got a pounding from the forum bullies for his question and probably will not come back. It was his first post for crying out loud. Looks like he did not know anything about Teardrops (believe it or not some folks don't) or the history of TD's and assumed he was asking a answerable question.

Forum Bullies? Here I thought we were having some fun until you made that last statement. Seeings how you think our return questions were out of line. You give him an intelligent answer, because I guess the rest of us are to dumb to tell him what he wants to know.

I can not answer the guys questions because I doubt he will come back and answer the sarcastic questions and comments left for him.

Oh, I do not think anyone on this forum is dumb, but a few might be just a little insensible to other peoples feelings.

Since I bought (instead of building myself) my teardrop, there are lots of threads that do not interest me. So I just skip right over them. I almost always read the birthday greeting, and sometimes add to them. I say leave them in.

I was just doing a quick browse of new threads when I hit this one.
If I'm not mistaken, doesn't one's birthday get added to the calendar either by adding it directly there or responding to the poll when is your birthday?
If someone does this I would presume that they would like to be wished Happy Birthday. If they didn't want any birthday wishes, they wouldn't let anyone know when their birthday is.
Its not like there are 5 birthdays everyday. So if you don't like wishing people happy birthday, just go onto the next thread.
Personally I think it is nice & when I have time I respond.
I don't see the big deal.

Courtesy,Friendliness and Respect ... I think they are found in The Websters Dictionary...Or Encyclopedia. For those that have never understood their meanings or heard of the words.

Also the language used here on the Forum by some isnt really up to Forum Rules either is it..

Who else takes the time and effort to Post the Birthday,s Its Miriam and she does a Great Job.

This Grumpiness must be a part of Birthdays..Or it is a trait received at Birth?

Dumb Questions???? I guess some here on the forum were born as Teardrop Builders..And they know it all.. They even put their pants on differently than others..so it seems.

Just kidding. I was in Minden on my birthday so I got a live happy birthday from everyone and it was neat. When I got back Mary K had posted also. Makes you fell like family

Without birthday greetings on here, I would not have had the pleasure of Gage, Doug and others singing happy birthday, holding a citronella candle, at Minden. It was great to have people remember my birthday when I was celebrating it in another country miles from home.

I'm only a long-time lurker here, and thought most of the people on the board were reasonably friendly..

This time, a topic gets started and everyone feels free to pile on and vilafy the orignator just because they don't agree with him.. even when he only posted 2 notes at the very beginning.....

Now, I'm wonder who has more class, those on the pig-pile, or Arne for just letting the ranting continue without responding to the inaneness of people who evidently can't hold a reasonable discussion...

Perhaps they don't like having something that matters taken away from them. Perhaps I don't like having someone tell me what and when and how much I have a right to post here.

I post them for the pure pleasure of doing it and a couple of people who have time to post on "speed bump bandit" don't like my taking their time away. Give that some thought Mr Happy and please don't whine newbie.
