Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Those puppies are just precious! Do you know which one you are getting?
I got my Golden at 6 weeks and he looked a lot like them only different color. We named him Bear because he did look like one.

Awwww, they're all so adorable!

Just love those baby soft puppy bellies and baby fine fur.

The breeder, and Mama, are taking very good care of those pups. They are meticulous!

Im going to see if they would make a video of the pups..If I had my way Id take em all. But then I know Id be living in the tear.

Yes indeed the Breeder is meticulous. The parents of these pups arent bad looking neither.

In order to get a Kennel License or Kennel Name the requirements and guidelines are real strict here.

I wish there was only 2 to choose from but know there is over a dozen.  Or was it a bakers dozen there is a difference. :) :D

Well since I collect bears, any thing that has to do with them is o.k. with me. I do like the name. When I pick from a bunch I have to watch them, hold them and decide which one chooses me. When I buy a stuffed bear I do the same thing. They have to say "take me home with you" and they can all be the same bear. Gene thinks I am weird but that is just the way I am, (weird). I wish I could be there to hold them, like you I could take them all. I don't think they would fit in the teardrop though. Our Bear goes with us but sleeps with our son in his teardrop. He weighs 97 pounds, big dog.

How about Snowtear or Snowmist Tears? Those pups are just adorable. I'd have the same trouble picking one, too. It it was me, I'd have to tell the breeder that I want a male/female and just to pick one out for me. Trying to figure out temperament is just too difficult at that age.

Since we're not petite people, I decided that having a dog in the tear when it is warm outside is just too much heat inside. Not to mention that fact that I don't want her to get in the habit of getting up on "furniture" (or the bed). Caitie sleeps in a travel crate placed just outside of the tear and, if its cold outside, she has a HUGE pillow that she sleeps on and I put a polypro blanket around the outside of the crate to keep her body heat inside. If I drape the blanket over the front a bit, it helps to keep the heat in, then she can go in and out as much as she wants - yes, she's on a line.

Hi Grani, since you brought up bears, have you ever seen the Swedish Bears that are on sale here in Scandinavia? I,ll look for the name of the maker of them but they are very well made and they are cute.

Around Xmas time were going to drive up to the Arctic Circle and see the pups since weve got relatives on the way. Of course depending on the weather to drive too. We,ll see. Then we could see the lil fuzzballs in person.

Also we have to see if our youngest boy is allergic or not to the dogs.
Our oldest was slightly but overcame the allergy slowly. Thats an other important factor in us getting one or not as well.

Hi Andrea

Yes they are cute. Im not sure if all of us could fit in the tear, dog and all but we,d have a side tent or galley tent where it cold be during camping. We were looking at one of them crates also a bit ago. This breed can easily get sick if it gets too hot outside due to the thick coat of fur. So that is important to take care of but ok the summer is very short here and the real warm days are few.

Winter again is a different thing. They love being outdoors in the coldest of winters. We wouldnt have it outside overnight though.

Which of the pups is number 1 is a difficult choice at this age as we found out. As Grani says let them pick the owner could be an important factor. ;)

We,ll keep you informed.

Here you go Grani this is a website for you or anyone else that maybe interested . From Sweden.

http://teddybears.se/eng/

Ok I found the famous teddy bears. The designer is Barabara Bukowski of Sweden. Click upper right hand corner of the web, on the flag to get it in english.

http://www.bukowski.se/www/

Also they are quality and safe. Which is important here anyway.

The products of Bukowski Design AB are all made with only new materials of the highest quality.
All items are CE approved according the EN 71-1/2 standard. The materials are syntethic in order to minimize the the establishment of germs and damp when the bear becomes wet. It also makes the washing easier and minimizes the risk of allergy. All products are washable in 30 degrees handwash. All materials are flameproof without any flameobstructive chemicals. All eyes are secured and locked, attached with a secure lock on the inside. Every baby item have eyes, mouths and noses embroidered by hand. Some of the items have plastic beans inside in order to give more weight and feeling to the bear. The beans are secured in inner net bags and don't fall out even if the seam would break.
The plastic beans are round and bigger than 2mm in three dimensions according to european security standards. The bears are generally filled with polyester and repellant to moister. This makes them dry faster after washing.

Ohh Im not affiliated with the company

Well I sent an email off to our forum friend Grant who is known for Lil Bear Teardrop trailers and parts. We love the name Lil Bear so just to make sure, we asked him if we could use the name Lil Bear on our pup. And the reply was

So the name at least for now is Snowmist Lil Bear. This dont start with U or T but this is our very own pup so this has a special meaning. And it will remind us of teardrop trailers at all times and of Grant & Lisa . The call name is still up in the air.

She's such a great mama!

Samoyeds don't have the oily coats of some breeds so that should help with the allergy. I'm very allergic to cats but zero problems with Gidget.

The Samoyed coat is remarkable. A friend put one of Gidget's long ("guard") hairs under an electron microscope and took a photo. At that magnification the Samoyed hair looks like the tip of an asparagus and it's obvious how they are able to so efficiently shed water, snow and ice.
