Being in an area where there a tons of microbreweries (Northern Front Range of CO)...and almost all are pretty damn good!! I still have to go with Guinness.
There is one that comes out of Durango, CO, called Ska Busternut. Damn good!! You ever see it...try it! Not to mention Hazed and Infuzed and Mojo from the Boulder Brewery. Many, many more.

I wasn't going to reply to this post because my basic "drink the bargain brews" philosophy doesn't really fit. Heck, I can't even pronounce some of the beers you guys have mentioned. The fridge in my shop is usually stocked with Natural Light or Keystone Light.....30 packs are $11 or less. I'll buy a case of Labatts when I want to splurge but I have to hide it from friends that stop by

I lived in Germany for a year and a half and sampled beer from all over Europe. I really do enjoy good beer but I usually just go to the corner store and pick up a case of rotgut American beer.

Hey guys, was wondering when you would get around to the Australian beers? You are right about Fosters, most people over here refer to it as Cats Pi$$, which explains why we gave it to the Poms and to you guys. :D Probably the most drank beer overhere would be VB (Victoria Bitter), which to my taste is right up there with Fosters, but I am a light beer drinker so most often will be found with either a Cascade or Harn Light in my hand. Emu Bitter can also be found in my fridge from time to time, but then I prefer a red wine or a Bundaberg Rum, so what would I know about beer?
Just my opinion and I respect your right to disagree.

Thats the usual problem here. The best stuff stays in the home market sand the cat's p*ss gets exported here. The Canadians have a lot of good brews too that we never see here. I guess the general perception worldwide is that our palates are so corrupted by Budweiser that it doesn't matter what they send. . My vote is for Okell's Manx Bitter. But you have to visit the Isle of Man to drink it.

  I have found that beer (good in lots of languages with minor changes in spelling), cerveza, or cerveha work nearly every time. However anytime they don't, try Heineken, they may not have "it" but like coca cola nearly everybody knows what it is and you'll probably get some kind of alcohol! :P
