I just wanted to stop in and say hello. :)

Lisa - I read through ketchup....I'm confused...Did your hubby get the job? I hope so!

I hope everyone is well and are enjoying the new thread.

Wait...is it a new thread just because it has a new name?

I haven't been able to be here much. Been working a lot and went to my 1st MS support group meeting. I was kind of nervous about attending. It was a lot of information at once. The people were very nice...but kind of scared me :frightened: . Almost all are on one of the common MS meds....the scary kind that you inject. They have severe fatigue which they combat with aderol or ridilin. They each have insomnia as a result of the aderol or ridilin, so they take ambion or something such as this to help them sleep. (3 meds..2 just for the side effects of each drug :( )

Those guys are so brave and i respect them for trying to do the right thing or what is right for them. With many of these guys, the illness has progressed a great deal, but they still have such good attitudes.

The thing is.... I don't want to live on that much medication or any, if I can help it.

So far, with the changes I've made, I feel great. Better than I've felt in 2 or 3 yrs.

After they each talked about their symptoms...aches and pains... for about an hour, I finally sort of did this  and asked, "Is it normal to feel good...cause I feel good?" One lady patted me on the shoulder and they all said..."Yes! Yes! We don't want to scare you....it is different for everyone. Sometimes you feel good." :phew: Thank goodness!

So, there it is...I've gone to my first meeting. It was a little scary...but I did it! Woohoo! :)

G'night..Johnboy, Mary Ellen, Glenn, Lisa, Mandy, Ben, Mama, Papa, Kerry, Paul, Johnny (boy)...and me :SH

It's freezing up, slower than h3ll, when trying to look at pictures...it's like I'm on dial-up, youtube videos keep stopping to buffer.

The AVG that Kerry suggested turns up nothing, deleting cookies doesn't help, CCleaner doesn't help, neither does disk cleanups or defragmenting.

I'm about ready to see how well my sledge hammer will help it.

:x

Any help? Please?

Spybot s&d may turn up something.
I heard the newest free version of AVG is a beeeyotch.

[edit] Yeah....spybot....not soybot.

Before he left Poland, he was in school to become a Catholic priest. She remembers him while working around the house, singing the psalms (in Latin, of course), and the walls would vibrate.

Em has been practicing for next week's concert at school with the chamber choir and this afternoon, she's wandering around singing THIS.

If grandpa is here, I am sure he is singing along. :)

uuffffda... that is powerful stuff!! I feel like going on a crusade... :)

Good for you Jan. Taking the mystery out of things can make them easier to deal with and you're on a good road in that respect. I have a friend that has had MS for many years. He just keeps rollin', never quits. One of my sisters has had Parkinsons for over 20 years now, she's he same way. Attitude is everything. Find you own way.

Thanks for sharing your trials with us, inspiring stuff young lady

ditto!! I have an aunt who is a hospice nurse her favorite saying is "its not how old you are it is how you are old that counts" Keep it positive, might as well smile, bitterness will solve nothing....
