Leaving for Williamsburg VA tomorrow morning! I'm so excited to go camping that my stomach is acting up. It's just as bad as a kid the night before Christmas!

Well, thank you. That's really nice of you to say, but nope...I don't desrve that credit, cause I'm not doing everything I could be doing...like really working out intensly every day, staying on a schedule of some kind, or even restricting the amount of coffee that I drink and a few other dietary things. I'm having some spirtual struggles that are really working on me also. I'm no inspiration, but your sister is with her 20 yr struggle with Parkinsons. I like what you said about her and your friend with MS..."never quits"...."keeps rolling with the punches." That inspires me.

Lisa - I read through ketchup....I'm confused...Did your hubby get the job? I hope so!

I hope everyone is well and are enjoying the new thread.

Wait...is it a new thread just because it has a new name?

No go on the job. Apparently they thought he'd be bored.

Well, darn. I hope he will get the next one that comes up and that it will be his favorite one yet.

I watched the entire thing. I like what Oliver is doing. Now he's inpsiring ;)

I cried a little when his 17 yr old student was crying as she spoke to him about her family's struggle with type 2 diabetes. I think what he's doing does matter...even if he helps just 1 person.

Glad to hear you are feeling good and made it through you first meeting. You could become a real inspiration for someone else there you know?

Hope you and yours stay safe this storm season.

Thank you Kerry, but the group did inspire me...not the other way around. Each one of the members who spoke to the group has a great attitude, a good sense of humor, and are very brave, although what they are doing with the meds isn't for me right now.

Thank you Kerry, Glenn, Shaun, Lisa, and Paul for your thoughts on this....I really appreciate that. I just hope to work harder....y'all are all hard workers and inspire me to do the same. :)

Oh, the weather? Thanks Kerry....you stay stay safe also....we will try to.

Glad it does Jan. You'll find your path, physical (and spiritual) challenges are that way. Not all fixes work for all people, but each one has it's good parts. I've learned to use the parts that help in a combo that works for the individual. It seems to me you have come a long way in a short time. I feel life is often about adapting so you can move on in the best way for You.

Jan... One comment ... you mentioned that you were not working out intensely every day.

IF you have been relatively inactive, it would not be wise to try and work out intensely everyday to start with.

That is what causes most people to "fail". One needs to work into it, to give the body time to adapt.
