Seems I have an enlarged thyroid and a spot on my liver. July 9 I will go in for CTs on them to find out why. They will also check the T3 and T4

Something to do with thyroid function I think.
Miriam,
So glad to hear there is no sign of another clot.
To check the T3 and T4 is a blood test to check thyroid levels in blood. Thyroid is sort of like a hormone. As with all blood tests, there is a range that is normal otherwise it is too low or too high. If you don't have enough thyroid it causes problems, if you have too much it causes problems. There can be various reasons for the thyroid to do this.
I take thyroid for a different reason, years ago when my oldest daughter was a year old I had 1//2 my thyroid removed due to a nodule growing in one half. The thyroid itself looks a little like a bow tie & both sides make thyroid. I take thyroid to shut down mine, so it would be less apt to develop a nodule in the other half.
If you need to take thyroid because yours isn't producing enough, sometimes it takes a little while to find the right dose. I haven't had this problem, but a good friend of mine has & it is just a matter of working with the doctor to get everything right.
Good luck!

& keep us posted
Martha
