Bridge Collapses

Well, the bridge collapese continues to play prominently in the news in our area. Here is an article from the Minneapolis Star Tribune that might be of interest to those who have posted questions.

The comment about the deicing chemicals is interesting, both because other than the one comment in the article, it doesn't mention anything else about it. The other interesting thing about it is that, supposedly here in Wisconsin, use of those chemical deicing systems on bridges was discontinued for the very reason that was discounted in this article.
