Dose anyone have a Mountain bike to sell me?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Bike is on its way!

The package departed Hope Mills, NC via US Postal service.

It weighed in at 39lbs 6oz including packing materials. - Which was about 1/2 roll of Duct Tape and another half roll of packing tape and some rather, umm "unique" packing. (Think boxes taped together everywhere.)

The box included the bike frame, two rims, three inner tubes, and the rather cheap owners manual.

Oh, and for the record, the tubes where standard Schwinn 26's.

The postal worker said it could take as much 30 days to arrive though, so I guess patience will be required from here on. (The box was too big to send air, or any other expedited method.)

Hope it gets plenty of use!

Guys*, (And Gals)...
Just got an email from Bruce, saying his IT guys have blocked the forum. (All forums actually). He's hoping it's temporary.
As he said, " so, if anyone asks, I'll be back... "

Lordy! How dumb is thatImage We want our boys to feel comfortable and relax not just do fighting all the time. Course "loose lips sink ships" too. Who knows what is being said elsewhere.

I presume it is the same with all branches of the military for anyone deployed anywhere in the general combat zone. My son is Air Force & he was deployed to one of the Persian Gulf countries. In order to have internet over there on his computer he had to give his hard drive to the military to format it to their specifications. Where he was stationed there were Internet connections in the dorm rooms. Not that I understand computer stuff, but I would think that would make anything to do with Internet more controllable. My son took the military formated one & got a second hard drive for his lap top so that he could swap them out, because he said the way the military one was done, it wasn't any good for playing games. Not quite sure how it all worked out, but he didn't figure it should be a problem as long as he didn't try to get on the internet with his non military hard drive. If you didn't plan on getting on the internet with your computer then the military didn't do anything with the hard drive. If that makes any sense :? from a non computer type person.

Seems like there are so many things I would never know without my son in the military. Plus the appreciation we should have especially for our deployed military personnel. My son an electrician on the B1 bomber worked 14 hours a day, 6 days a week for 6 months and toward the end in the summer the heat got up to 130 -140 degrees out where the planes where on the pavement. His attitude is they were there to get a job done & they did it. I'm sure it is the same of all the military over there. Thank you to all. :applause: :applause: :applause:
