… You might be building a Teardrop.

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby Chip » Fri Feb 24, 2006 5:47 am

if "the voices" are starting to make sence and you are you are talking back to them asking for their ideas and input on building,,,,,,, :? ya might just be building a teardrop

If ya cant find something in ya kitchen but ya know exactly where it is in the trailer ya might already have built a teardrop

If ya have a series of horizontal knots on the back top of your head,,, ya might be building a teardrop,,,,,,, and need to make ya door taller

If getting "LUCKY" tonight means that ya got 5 hours free time to play in the shop by yourself,,,, ya might be building a teardrop

If you spend your morning rolling loose change so you can get the extra parts you need...you might be building a teardrop

If you have ever brought up the next gathering while your wife is in labor, you might be building a tear.

If you ever burned up a jigsaw, drill, and belt sander, you might be building a tear.

If you ever had to buy another new drill and jigsaw while 800 miles away from home to fix A/C problems while on your maden voyage, you might be building a tear.

If you ever get asked, Is that a trailer for dogs? you might be building a tear.

If you ever get stopped at the Hoover dam check point for 30 min so all the security can take a look. you might be building a tear.

if your wife ever sees rob's cabin car and says sell yours so you can build one like that, you might be building another tear.

You know you're building a teardrop when:

You have an hour to go in the office and you can't wait to run to Walmart to buy a 12V deep cycle battery to use with a DC-AC inverter because the power is all screwed up at your boat yard and you have electrical work to do and test tomorrow and you're getting nervous and part of you really wants it to rain like CRAZY so you have an excuse not to do it but even if the weatherman says the day is going to be perfect you now have a backup plan because the Renaissance Festival is in town and how can you neglect your family just to work on the teardrop although you'll feel real guilty about not getting that elctrical work done or real guilty about not taking the family to the Renaissance festival although you can get the electrical work done really early and you can all go to the Festival LATER but if you don't have success with the electrical you'll be all pissed and in a bad mood for the Festival and...

I'll tell you about Sunday later.
Here we go again!

If you measured the width of your tiers and axle before building your workshop door....you might be building a teardrop.

Postby oklahomajewel » Fri Feb 24, 2006 10:15 pm

150+ posts !!!! I can't believe it !!!!! :hammer:

Why was I driving to work today, thinking of not only things to add to the thread but as usual, thinking.....

....IF you drive to work each day, and smile as you pass other cars, knowing they would be smiling at you when you're towing your teardrop..... you might be building a teardrop!

If you carry your plans, sketches, lists, and notebook with you to work everyday like it's schoolwork.... you might be building a teardrop!

IF you are planning to take your vacation with people you've never met face to face... you might be building a teardrop!

If you are calling the local RV dealers to pressure them about the RV Show in town next month... you might be building a teardrop ! ((Why don't they show some T@B's, and Yoder Toder's and they would sell like hotcakes !!!))
Some things are way over my head !! ...but it keeps me looking UP!
