Am I a thread killer?

Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby Catoosa Grani » Thu Jul 12, 2007 3:18 pm

Well, just thought I would add my 2 cents here. First, I have met Uncle M and I am sure that is his picture. Second, I have also met CD and it favors him too except his hair is shorter. Very handsome guys.

I need some posting numbers too, so here I am. I also felt that I killed threads. Some times I only get to answer my own posts. Now, if this ends this one, we will all know the truth.

The funny thing is people ask me what I am going to do when the kids finally go to school....same thing but without the kids. So I guess I am officially retired!!!!! :D Wife does a lot of last minute travels and who would watch them during their off time. I do part-time bicycle stuff....basically have a key and go and come as I want. Enough to support my motorcycle habit without feeling all that guilty.

I wouldn't change it for the world...I never miss anything. I must be doing something right...the kids had Jitterbugs at the YMCA today and after class they both run out yelling Daddy and jump on me and the rest of the kids come out slow and not jumping or yelling for who ever is watching them.

I think some men are wonderful at home and wish Mike could have stayed home. He is so much more organized and the kids really did better with him. That said you might want to be sure you plan for some type of retirement other than SS.

I have been planning for retirement for a long time already...always max'd out the 401k...fully vested 2 companies....max out the Roth Ira every year...I never really planned on the S.S. being around/or enough to be of any good. My goal was always to retire by 55 and I just did it 17 years earlier than expected.

At sometime I will probally go back to work...when the kids are old enough to watch themself...but it will be for something I want to do. Been kicking around the idea of nursing school, but I think you need to be smart to do that! .

The Classic Finn must be dreaming of Elmer. I lack a bit of hair but no way do I look that good in a teddy.

O.K. del,

If you think you've learned your lesson, you can come out.

But we put your dinner in the refrigerator, at least the part
the dog didn't eat.

Uncle Mike I think you better feed the rest to the dogs, cause I ate here. Plus Missouri is a little far to go for diner. Although tempting, would love to meet you both.
