Hey Chris, I was gonna call ya on my new phone for a chat, but the wife is taking a nap and I don't want to wake her! Sometime soon though, I will get to it! 8)

I wish I had cable TV and air conditioning. I could use a good Duke flick.

Way cool!

^ ^ Doubley-cool, if you know what I mean...

And I saw your edit, there. Hee! :dancing

People round these parts never built w/ A/C 'cause we're on a coastal plain... sea breezes can kick up in the afternoons, and this summer especially a box fan can cool the house down in less than two hours.

Prior summers, though, I sure could have used an A/C unit.

Mail was just delivered, but I would have to go through the living room to get out and check the box. Wife is napping in the living room. Guess that I will wait about 30 mins when I am supposed to wake her up!

I think that we had A/C in most of the places we lived when we were in the greater LA area (Redondo beach and Hermosa Beach, and finally San Pedro)!

A/C only makes sense out here if you want to be comfortable...

It's not a necessity yet, like summers in Tejas or Oklahoma... or Jersey, or... any other place w/ higher humidity levelz.

The only advantage to going without it, of course, is the massive electricity bill saving$.

:R

Alrightythen. Gonna head out and meet some friends fer lunch/brunch.
