Things that don't fit anywhere else...

Postby Fenlason » Mon Jan 21, 2008 4:56 pm

Thanks guys

It does not seem to manifest like Rheumatoid arthritis. Gout was another one of those thing they could more easily diagnos... [If I was normal].

I do not fit the typical gout patient.. yet I was just reading more about it.. and there are aspects that sound "familar"... that seem to fit.

I don't drink.. I don't eat high purine foods. I don't eat much meat. while right now it is my big toe that is affected.. more around the ball of the foot. one of my more normal places is the shoulders.. and it had only affected my knee once.. it also has affected a calf muscle [no joint]

I am not overweight.. my blood suger is good and my kidneys are fine.

the pain has hurt as much as any broken bone I have had.. and that is how they have described it

My not liking doctors in not a typical not liking doctors thing..
generally I am ok with tests.. a couple of years ago... I had other symptoms that make them look at MS.. I had spinal taps.. MRI even though claustraphobic... I am ok with that. needles.. while maybe not my favorite thing.. is not a problem.

I have an appointment with a Doctor [that does alternative healing now] wed. through her.. I may make an appointment with another doctor for some tests.

 My dad had something similar but localized to his legs, after 1 1/2 years of Doctors and tests they finally figured out he was using too much salt, may be something to consider? 8)

There are lots of things they can test for and not get a positive at the time.

Keep checking and good luck. Oh and sometimes allergies can do that.

Or you are stressing the joint in your sleep.

Finally thawing out it was a balmy -1 while we were eating or sausage and eggs Sunday morning. They didn't stay warm long
It is and experience that I would recommend to everyone at least once.

It's nice to be back in my bed.

It's bad when you have to use the cooler to keep drinks from freezing
My drink was turning slushy before I could finish it

Well good morning all,
Didn't want to come back to work, yucky day wet snow looking at 1-3 :(
I know that's not much for some of you and it's not really much for here but any is to much for me. Maybe it's the 4am thing that makes it worse.

Morning! :)

I agree, Scott. Any is too much these days. We're supposed to get some (dusting to 1inch) and probably some wintery mix at the end. :(
