Embarrassing Moments

Postby Classic Finn » Thu Jul 20, 2006 6:51 pm

I thought to share this with you since its what happend to me this afternoon... Have you had embarrassing moments ?

Okay this afternoon I was out in the yard planting some lilac bushes and some other flowers... well for a few days weve had god,s lil creations flying in and out of the flowers .... busy as ever...well we had a neighbor over with their lil boy who is about the same age as our lil Samuel...

So as I was speaking there and doing some chores I felt a lil tickle and as though somthing was crawling up along my leg but inside of my pants...
  below is a photo of the lil busy bee that decided to take a "look see" of the type of flower that the Classic Finn had...Below is a photo of the lil critter with wings....

right then and there - I said, "sorry folks" And my pants were down! - I think there is somthing flying inside of my pants and if it gets any closer Im going to feel the visitation... so off flew the pants ... and you should have seen the look on the neighbor lady,s face and my wifes.... :o

Not only that but the lil boy ran away to the other side of the yard and decided this was the time to grab his security gadget called the Pacifier real quick and he threw it in his mouth quicker than we could imagine and sat down in the grass just staring as to say Now what will he think of next.. The thing is our yard faces the public street and there were folks passin by just seeming to enjoy the summer event... :o :o

well there was the lil critter getting ready to fly off into the sun, however before it did it stung me ... and not far from you know what....

So that was embarrassing however it was an emergency to say the least..

PS I dont know what you call these in English but would it be called a Bee?

Thats my story and it is the truth and Im sticking to it..I think the lil critter was just as terrified as I was at that particular moment..

2 come to mind... long ago, I stopped to smell the rose(s). I put my hand around the stem and bent down to smell the rose... a bee under the flower stung said hand.... not good. I still smell the roses, but more carefully....

More recently, like 2 weeks ago, a nearby river was in flood... I saw a standing wave about 20 feet off the sand bar I was standing on.... I decided to walk out to the wave. Turns out, the wave was being caused by the flood water rushing around the end of the sand bar... I felt the water pushing me but figured once on the sand bar I would be okay... turned out the standing wave was 5 feet deep, not the 2-3 I had thought. So, the wave pushed me over and into the flood rush (I was wearing my bathing suit). I found out a couple of things. First, swimming in a flood is not like swimming in a ymca pool.... second, if you do something stupid like this, don't bring the dog with you. It annoys the dog and could kill it.

Since I am a decent swimmer I was able to get back to shore.. and the most embarrassing thing was the dog beat me. I still have visions of that wave. I hope they fade after a while.

The bee thing really bothers me. I'm allergic. I got bit once in approximately the same area while at work. Very embarassing having to show the boss why I had to go to the ER to get my Benadryl shot and then go home to sleep it off.

Oh well............

My most embarrassing moment came WAAAAYYYYYYY back when I was just 16, and on the local lifesquad.

Town siren went off one day whilst I was swimming in my speedos (yeah, speedos, we're talking 1970 here to be specific) jumped in my boat and across the lake, up the beach and into the fire station, turned on Sheriff's radio to hear that Mary C was in labor, water broke, squad needed, and the doc is on the way from his office.

After calling in to the Sheriff's office to say I was on station, I was told to go ahead and roll by myself RIGHT NOW!!!! Remember, I'm in flip-flops and speedos only... not even a towel!

Got to Mary C's house, ran in the door, and saw my first LIVE, ahem, female's private parts, and being 16, oh well, the hormones kicked in.

Then Mary gave shout, and Little Johnny's head popped out - so I had to get down on my knees and help deliver him... When the doc got there, needless to say, he was a bit confused as to what was going on!

Having set the stage, what was so embarrasing was that Mary C was the MOTHER of my then current girlfriend, and even while in labor, Mary remarked to me that Peggy should be REAL pleased with me... then Peggy came running in the house, in HER swimsuit (a bikini) and, ahem, there was another hormone attack and, er, a spontaneous reaction so to speak.

It took about twenty years for Mary to stop telling people that story!

(No, I did not marry Peggy!)

Went on a small vacation and brought the cam corder to review our in room fun time experience. Forgot to erase the tape and after several months later I found my son using it (without permission) and got it back a little late. He said he doesn't want to ever see that again. I think I did or didn't erase it but can't find the tape.
