Camp Inn Fire

:( :( While I was attending the Big air show in Oshkosh I met Cary's father and he informed me they had a fire which will put them back a bit on their build schedule. As I under stand it was not a total burn down but enough to cause problems. Too bad we can't all just converge on Central Wisconsin and help clean up the place. We wish them a fast recovery.

On behalf of Cary & Holly, Craig and myself, thanks to all for your support and concerns.

Yes, the shop sustained considerable damage. Thankfully, no one was injured...stuff can be replaced, people cannot. We are very fortunate to have great employees who are willing to pitch in and do whatever it takes to get things back up and running. The past four days have been exhausting but things are looking up. There is a lot of work to be done and while it isn't anyone's idea of fun, no one is complaining. We anticipate the business will be fully operational again in a short time.

I am sure at some point when he can take a breather, Cary will chime in on this thread. Understandably, both he and Craig are a bit busy with getting things operational again.

Bad things happen in life and good things can come out of bad. We are certainly witnessing the goodness in people as we work through this difficult time. Again, many thanks for your words of encouragement, thoughts and prayers.

Betsey (and the rest of the Camp-Inn family) :)

Camp Inn gang,

Even thought you may say 'Why Me', everything happens for a reason and when it is all said and done. It usealy turns out for the best (some how). So keep your heads up and good luck in your recovery.

Have a good day.

I'm totally with Gage on this one. These are good people doing good things. I wish I was closer so I could help out. Cary has always responed to my PM's and has been real helpful with any questions I've had. I'll probably send some cash his way to help.

They'll be back better than ever!!!!!

It is amazing how fast word gets out like this. Just proves how small a world it is. I have had little time to sleep the last few days and already people know. Thank you to all who are worried. No money necessary Warpony.

I am looking forward to hearing the story from my dad about meeting funflyer at Oshgosh. I was supposed to be there with him and the fire started just hours before I was to leave.

As Betsey said the building is heavily damaged. But, would you believe we lost very little material and no trailers were lost? The store room, spray booth and storage attachment were completely untouched. I wish I could say the same for my poor office, what a mess.

We all have some really good fire departments to thank for alot of this. The neighbor who called it in said the fire trucks were there in under 5 minutes. Three departments in all where there and many of the fireman were there for pretty much the whole weekend.

Hopefully we will be building trailers in less than two weeks. And hopefully be back completely in the building in a few months.

Cary,

If you need any help what so ever let me know. I was looking for a good reason to come over to check on my land in Big Flats and visit some friends in Babcock.

I hope everyone is doing well and it sounds like CAMP-INN will be up and running real soon. You better! Cary and the gang are some of the best business people I have dealt with...... And I see a CAMP INN in my future.

Best

Sorry to hear the bad news about the fire and very glad that no one was hurt. I've drooled over the pictures on your website for years and then a couple of weeks ago I got to drool over the real thing.

We were at Cabelas in Lehi, UT and when we came out found the following jem shining in the sun.

As neat as it is to visit Cabelas I enjoyed seeing the Camp Inn trailer that much more. Cabelas will always be there but I don't know when I'll see another Camp Inn unless I go to one of the big gatherings.

Chin up and good luck with the post-fire recovery!!!
