Things that don't fit anywhere else...

What do you listen to???

Postby wolfix » Fri Sep 29, 2006 11:28 pm

I'm new to the forum....I found it accidently. But since a tear build or 2 is in my future I joined up to be able to gather useful info from you guys..... And now I plan on trying to get to a few gatherings next year. But I"m curious as to what type of music you all listen to? The forum seems to be pretty diverse group of individuals....
I'll start it ..... I listen to a lot of Jimmy Buffett. Matter of fact I might make a Teardrop in an "Island Theme." Instead of a food galley, a great big 'Margaritta" mixing station....... Fun for all!.... [A trailer in the shape of a big lime?]

When traveling about or at home, what do you guys listen to........?????? :icedtea: :icedtea:

wolfix....since I have a retail fabric store and my clientele is mostly over 50 and women...Celtic, Classical, Big Band, and way easy listening, I've got a slug of CD's...they will walk around the store and start singing/humming etc...it works for me...in the car...talk radio...in the garage when building...satellite TV...cartoons, 3 stooges tapes, and Nascar....I guess I don't fit any mold...and I'm OK with that....  doug

Wolfix,
I listen to quite when I am in the car. I get very little of it and value every minute.

When I get in a noisy mood I like Jimmy Buffet too and some country (picky) and some older oldies. 8)

Course there was the time the girls wouldn't turn it down and I got even. I played the "Dirty Dancing" tape morning to evening as loud as I could stand it for a week. 8) I know! I'm evil. To this day they turn it down when I'm around.

New age hippie stuff mostly! I like a lot of the new electronic music by people like Bjorne Lynne and others. Yeah, I know it's kinda weird... but then I never was one to follow the crowd.

Also... WholewheatRadio.com is cool, all indie new stuff... broadcast from a 12' x 12' shack in Talkeetna, Alaska

In the car, National Public Radio

While working outside, old fart music. Stuff from the late 60's and early 70's. You know; from those artists whom, when they show up on the latest Public Television Beg-a-thon, you wonder how they got so old and fat.
