I'm glad I live next a mountain range that keeps all that nastiness away (mostly). We may be at the same latitude as you guys, but the weather is much milder here.

I met some folks from N. D. Not a one had a coat on at 30 degrees.
Most of that goes for KS and MO also. Just doesn't last as long here.

Please visit my city on a Friday or Saturday night in winter - until the temp drops below freezing, the lads and lasses visiting the bars in the city centre wouldn't think of giving up short sleeves (for the lads) and strappy tops (for the lasses).

It's scary.

I could not do that even when I was young and dumb. I shivered the entire first two winter I lived in Kansas. Being raised in the South permanatly assures you have better sense.

Wow if it snowed on Monday I sure can't tell. Got home at 6:30 last night from our cruise. Mom and Dad picked us up at the airport. We had packed away our jackets and I was worried it might be cold but it was a real nice 49 with not a hint of snow anywhere!

Traveling is fun but it's always good to be home......how long till I don't feel like I'm still swaying on the ship???????
