How do I delete a post?

I put a double post in earlier tonight but being still a newbie here I do not know how to delete a post yet. Could I get a little Help in this area please

I believe if you edit the post you want to delete you will see in the upper)mid?) right hand corner of the box you will see a delete button

Nope. You can only delete a post that hasn't yet been answered. Once it's been answered you can edit the contents out, but only the Admins can delete it.
