I always get nervous when I hear the words "Berlin and "airplanes" used in the same sentence.

I did notice that Dornier sporting some modern PT6s. Probably way more power than it was designed for. No wonder he doesn't bother turning on the center engine.

Yes, thank you for the link... in some pics with multiple planes, the size difference is very noticeable...

The me262 engines were only good for 25 hours because the metals at that time couldn't take the pressures... the replica flies with Pratt & Whitney engines.

We had cut-away ME262 engines at school. Even though it is one of the first turbine engines, it works exactly the same. It is simplier which makes it a better training aid.

The big flaw was that they cast the turbine and compressor blades as one piece, not allowing for expansion.
