Just battled the dreaded animated Xmas Reindeer decorations

Postby Ira » Sun Nov 26, 2006 7:27 pm

It was horrible. My hands are still trembling. And I'm still breaking out in a sweat,

Who is familiar with these wonderful little creations from China? We have two--one's head goes side to side, the other's goes up and down.

As if the negative one is saying:

"You can't put us together again THIS year shmuck!"

And the affirmative one is telling me:

"Yes! Kill yourself! It will be a lot EASIER on you!"

I HATE THESE STUPID THINGS! EVERY YEAR, YOU TAKE ALL OF THE CARE IN THE WORLD PUTTING THEM BACK IN THEIR BOXES, BUT WHEN YOU REMOVE THEM THE NEXT YEAR, EITHER THE LIGHTS COME LOOSE FROM THEIR BONEY ASSES AND YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE TO PUT THEM BACK…SOME LIGHTS DON'T WORK…OR YOU CAN"T FIGURE OUT HOW TO PUT THESE CREATIONS OF SATAN BACK TOGETHER IN THE FIRST PLACE!

It's a conspiracy. They're Buddhists over there, and they're probably laughing their asses off at all of the aggravation they're causing Christians all over the world.

And one Jew.

Judaism needs a new marketing director:

I love the way they call Hanukkah the festival of lights--but a menorah only has NINE lights--eight, plus the center one...which doesn't even count.

That center one is used to light the others, except on an electric menorah, which makes no sense at all anyway. Judaism didn't modernize with electricity, and an electric menorah is not considered a religious symbol--except at Schwartz's House of Jewish Novelties, which manufactures them.

So can someone explain how nine stupid lights can be considered a festival of lights--especially since the holiday happens around CHRISTMAS!?

Maybe compared to RAMADAN it's a festival of lights, but compared to Christmas, it's a welfare house.

OH oH oH I just got how to fix your city rules. Make a lighted crab camper. Then leave it out past the 5th of January.  8)

I know, I'm mean. ;)

I don't know if this is what Miriam was thinking...drag the Crab home...decorate it all up with lights, park it as a static Holiday display...work on it in the meantime, just remember to plug 'er in every night, save a month of rent at the boat yard, and in the meantime, you get to thumb your nose (now modified) at the CCR's......doug

I was going to do that for Halloween, but it's STILL a trailer parked in your driveway.

(And when I said carports weren't allowed here, I meant to say covered car ports.)

:( Does that mean you can't hook up the lighted Reindeer to pull it?

Perhaps you can take the wheels off and have Santa coming out the door. 8)
Oh well---there are companys that make lighted displays if you don't want to make your own. I think you should put your crab in the Christmas parade too.

Raindeer

Postby MOKI SEAKER » Mon Nov 27, 2006 9:40 am

Couldn't you mount your Raindeer on top of the trailer, Like it is a stand. The raindeer coming over the mountian. Maybe Santa coming out the Door.
