What Title Would You Give?

Postby Classic Finn » Tue Dec 12, 2006 4:16 pm

Dear Friends

If you wanted to draw people to your special place of natures own beauty and serenity and products representing this special place... In your State or Country.. and really get folks interested just by the wording ..

What title or name would you use to do so...on your Website or Brochures

Im talking about camping, canoeing, and just plain relaxing and enjoying this special place and specialty products ...for an example with your teardrop or caravan.. Here is one nice example out of our products:

Image pertaining to this site.

I know there are great ideas out there and folks with great imagination of using words...

We need to find captivating titles or names in English..We are working on a project here for the above..

Sincerely
Classic Finn

I love you to death, Heikki.

But what the hell are you talking about?

Until you reply though, I have always found that the word "Sex" attracts a lot of attention in marketing.
Here we go again!

Not quite sure what you're asking - you lost me at "products representing this special place." But the places of nature's own beauty and serinity that I know of I keep to myself, maybe share with a friend or two. I'm sure not going to advertise! Next thing ya know they'll be puttin' up condos...

On the seashore I'd borrow Jimmy Buffett's "Snake Bite Key." In the mountains maybe "Poison Creek" or "Broke Axle Pass..."

Ira came to my mind 1st...and sex? nonono    We are working on a catalog plus website which we have started already...

And we need Wording In English, making people interested or more than curious to find out about our site and what we will offer...So we need attracting words to use..describing the site.. this will be for caravans, teardrops, and just even plain tent folks.. and we will be selling special products pertaining to camping, fishing and souvenirs to this site...

I hope I explain this better...

PS I do reckon the word Sex is also an attractive word to use in the Magical Nordic Woods and Lakes...   If its relaxing enough... 8) 8)

Coop thank you.. .

The Title or Name alone has to give the possible client an idea of what this site would be about to make them curiously drawn to it...and interested..

Such as places that would describe a teardroppers paradise in the USA and most definitely would draw the attention and interest. To your area or attraction...

Ok as Ira stated the word... How about Inspiring Sex in the Magical Nordic Woods?
   Might get a few takers... :D :D but ok no.. :) :) even though whatever their hearts desire at that place...

Joseph Im thinking so hard in Finnish and having a heck of a time translating myself to you in English....so you can understand me...UGH.

But the title and or photo (s) has to give an idea to the customer that makes them interested in coming in this case to our country or yours
just by the words or photos and products.. and hopefully enjoy in real life
the same experience as on the Title of the Website or photos shown..and if the travel is not possible - then lure them to our Online Product Shop..

Garsh... Hope I said that better...

Ok Ira has them capabilites and I know more of you do too...

Thats why We thought to ask here... weve been working on this for 2 days now since its real bad and nasty outside which most definitely would not attract anyone at the moment.

We had this at 1st: Nordic Trails and Lakes
Adventures of The Wild North
Land of The Lakes Adventures
Northern Sky Adventures
Nordic Sky Adventures and Products
Natures Midnight Sun Adventures and Products
Scenic Scandinavian Lakes and Trails or ............
.........

Now do you understand what Im trying to do: Along with this would be specially crafted products made in Finland to use on your camping adventure here ... at the same time it would be a useful Souvenir to take back home to use Outdoors...or as a unique Decor..

Heikki

PS Ira now do you understand, A captivating scenic photo should describe
the title or words as nicely .. or viseversa? That would make the place or product as appealing as the location itself in reality..hmmm what did I say..

Ah - got it! I was wondering about the "products."

How about connecting with your wildlife? An elk logo of some kind? Maybe a lynx or a brown bear? I know you have these animals, but I don't know what kind of feelings they generate among your people. I know people who visit the Adirondacks in upstate NY tend to adore the loon and its haunting cry. Trumpeting Swan Tours? Call of the Elk?

Not particularly good ideas, but maybe they'll give you some better ones.

Heikki,

Yes you do, I am just trying to brainstorm hoping an idea will catch on. You want a "catchy" name so people will look at what you have to offer. You could always name it after you teardrop or use your handle... Classic Finn. We have a store in Oregon called GI Joes, what do youthink they sell.....they are a large outdoor adventure supply store....hunting, fishing, camping, bicycling, boating. They do not sell large ticket items - I have seen them, though they could order them for you.

Hope I am correct in what you are thinking

Whew here I thought Id never come up with the correct wording...

Well one thing is that The Whooper Swan is the Finnish Emblem and even on the Coin here... Euro Coin ... Germans love anything to do with their so called Elk (Here they go nuts about the Reindeer)... The Japanese have a thought that The Northern Lights have Magical Romantic Power so they come to Northern Lapland to view the Aurora Borealis...

The Fisherman from all around the world come to fish for Salmon and Trout ...

Lets see what else...

The Products we received a shipment of today for example are Handmade Knives.... Campfire starting products...utensils and ...I,ll present them later... all to do with camping in some form..All from Natural products...
