Thanks. Besides lots of fir branches (small) all over my yard and no power since last night to 9 pm tonight we did OK. It took an hour to drive 8 miles to the Home Depot to get some Henry's wet roof patch. I had glue down two shingles that came loose. HD said they sold 49 generators this morning. Some areas are expecting to be without power for up to 7 days. Yikes!! Danny

thanks for the Christmas carols Danny...some hit a little close to home, but that is what the voices in my head say...but just wait till this spring...you'll be able to pick up a hardly used generator cheap in the want ads. I lose power a couple of times a winter up where I live. I use the propane BBQ on the back porch, and "garage camp" in the tear...I've got a wood stove in there and a little generator, snow to keep the eats cold...the dog loves it...Doug

Doug, I know what you mean about hitting close to home. They diagnosed my 86 yr old mom with Dementia last week. She will be here for the holidays. I see generators going real cheap here too. Some guy had a pick up full of them for sale on the side of the road today. We have a wood stove and can cook on it too and then there is the teardrop. :) Danny

Ira, that was what they call a 10 year storm. It's basically to scare off more Californians from moving up here. They were saying last week on the radio that Californians are moving to western states by the 10's of thousands. I'm guessing they want to escape before it succeeds to Mexico. Danny
