Beagles are pack dogs and when they are alone, they tend to be noiser and more destructive than they do if there is more than one!!

Pepper loves that wav... he sits there and howls and howls... He howls for a good minute after the wav is done playing...

Mike..

P.S. tomorrow morning we are going over to visit Maxi, a young Beagle... We are going to play the wav there too, to see how they react...

You now know the reason we named our beagle Diva. Here's a baby pic:

My beagle is actually neither noisy, nor destructive, but the kids think even a small noise it noisy. Fact is I can't often even get her to speak, when trying, and she is just learning to let us know at the back door, rather than just standing there and hoping someone wonders past and notices her. She is a rescue, and I think her previous owners trained the noise right out of her.

I am aware of beagles pack personallity, and have considered getting a second somedays, but other day, not so much. :-)

Warning for Pet Owners

Postby rbeemer » Mon Dec 18, 2006 1:10 pm

All,

I spent a few hours this past Saturday night with my dog(Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Murphy) in the ER. It seems my dog chewed some Christmas decorations that had wire in them and he swallowed a couple of the wires.

Murphy is doing fine they had to induce vomiting and out the wires came - saved me over a $1000.00 . The vet tech said it was the prettiest vomit she had ever seen - reg and green with lots of glitter.

Vet bill only $167 - so watch what them pets eat!!!!!!

A few years ago at a dog event my friends dog-napped her, dressed her up and she won the costume contest.
