Well Dave... this looks an awful lot like SPAM? If it isn't, why not just post the link directly to the avatars? And, the site says they are not selling anything... yet the index (menu) lists products for sale? I'm not impressed.

I can't understand why you  this site. Lesbest is just giving us a website to check out. Maybe he doesn't know how to put a URL in a post, or maybe he was too excited about the website.
I found that website last year, and was looking for it again this year.... Thanks Lesbest for giving me the name.

As for It says it's not selling anything... It's true, it's not. You can browse the site to your heart's content and don't have to buy anything. If you do want to buy something, they give you the opportunity...... Hey!! that sounds a little like Our forum... Except Our's doesn't say we don't sell anything.
SPAM??? Why?? Because he brought the website to our Attention??

Scrooge is alive and well and living in....

I cought hell when I switched my Avatar to a antimated Santa Claus. I guess it's all in who you know.

P.S. Also, this thread has nothing to do with teardrops or tiny trailers so should be in the Off Topic section.

Micro469... I have to agree with Gage... At best it should be in the off topic thread. As for your statement "You can browse the site to your heart's content and don't have to buy anything." That's true of any commercial site? So whay's your point? The facts are they are selling stuff, It is way off topic, and it's not the least bit Teardrop related.

So, You have your openion and I have mine... But, I'll stick with what I said above... Even if I do come across as the Grinch!

(I will refrain from any further comments... I've said enough about the subject)

The Guide lines was set by Mike way back in 2004. If it wasn't covered in any other sections and it related to Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers in some way, it could be placed in the General Section. If it didn't relate to Teardrops and Tiny Travel Trailers, it should be posted in the Off Topic Section. That's why it was created, for those that wanted to post something that didn't have anything to do with T&TTT.

Does that answer your question? :icedtea: (When is Winter going to get here? It's almost Christmas.)

P.S. Lesbest has been on board for a year now. You would think that would be enought time to learn how to post a link.

Sheeeeesh!

Postby Lesbest » Mon Dec 18, 2006 6:19 pm

Sorry that I stirred up the stinkpot! I signed up a year ago but couldn't sign in, let it go till about sept. and got it straightened out with Mike, it works fine now. I've been reading and learning from everyone but have not started to build yet. I saw a segment on CBS Sunday morning show about the guys who put agazillion lights on the house and sync. them with music. I checked out the website and found the avatars and thought someone might be interested. Sorry that my lack of computer knowledge slowed you down because you had to keystroke the name in, I'll try to be more considerate the next time. MERRY CHRISTMAS! for the Christians
HAPPY CHANUKAH! for the Jewish and SCREW YOU for the athists.

Hey Dave... Nice of you to say you're sorry... We are really not bad guys & gals around here. But, we are kinda hard on the trolls that try to sneak in blatant ads and otherwise try to exploit our little home on the web. If I misjudged your intent, it was only a nudge in the right direction to help keep this place as nice as it is for us Teardrop nuts... Everyone plays nice around here... it's almost like family; that's prolly a good part of why this is the best forum I've ever been on by far. ;)

Happy Christmas... friend ~ Brick

And then you proceed to stick your foot in your mouth. The "and SCREW YOU for the athists." is not called for. We just happen to have a couple on this board and they are as good as you and me. They just have different beliefs. And that's what America is all about.

I dont think that your comments are tolerated if you look at your last sentencing. There is enough of that going on in this world. So dont bring it onto this forum. Religion is a private issue or personal choosing.. Here on the Forum we share ideas of teardrops and building ... And religion is irrelevant. So dont rattle the issue here.

Sheesh... Dave. "and SCREW YOU for the athists." is pretty antisocial and rude? Saying Screw anybody is not funny... and way out of line on a public forum. You have a strange way of making new friends? :(
