During this holiday season many of us should be thankful
for our men and woman that are protecting our freedoms.

I would like to start a thread that would put URL's and information that would
increase the awareness of our military men and women's needs while serving our country.

There are many Web Sites started by people that are doing good deeds
for our military men and women across this land. If you hear or see a
article on TV or Radio in your area, please put the information on this
thread
so people here know where they may go to help in their local area?

You may have heard the stories of the men and women that serve our
country not given the respect they deserve while dealing with family and
returning to the USA after serving in the war zone.

This thread could be a source for we who have served and those that are
interested to become aware of services that may help a service person and
their family in your area of influence. Be aware that many of our service
persons aren't getting the support that they may need. Many can't truly
support their families while guarding our freedoms. These stories are heart
breaking. Your awareness of this issue and where to get help may make
the difference for someone you may know now or in the future.

Please add URL's and information that support military from your area below.
Please share stories of help that we Americans are doing for our military people~
