Demo 2008 ticket is set

Postby tonyj » Wed Jan 17, 2007 2:03 am

I find this very disturbing. I know it is true because I saw the picture provided by the Weekly World News. Still eighteen months out and the democratic ticket is already set. I don't know if people have have heard the announcement, but I saw the picture while I was in the grocery checkout stand.

Hillary has chosen Bigfoot to be her running mate in '08!

Folks, we have to stop this.

I will not rest comfortably knowing that the person who might be next in line for the most powerful office in the world is Bigfoot.

We know so little about him. He is a recluse. He refuses to be photographed. I'm not even sure he is American. Has he even registered to vote in recent elections? Where does he stand on gay marriage and the right to choose? I'm not even sure that he isn't just some person dressed up in a furry suit. Hey, it might even be Bill Clinton in disguise. Come to think about it, you have never seen Bill Clinton and Bigfoot at the same place at the same time. It makes one wonder.

Everyone knows Hillary doesn't stand a chance unless she puts someone popular on the ticket, and Bigfoot has name recognition--nothing more.

Next thing you know, Obama with choose Santa Claus as his running mate. We would be forced to vote for him not because of his stand on the issues, but because of the jolly old elf's list! Who would dare vote against Santa and chance getting burnt toast or a lump of coal for Christmas? And you know he will want the Christmas season off!

We have to put a stop to this Hillary and Bigfoot ticket. I don't want to be perceived as insensitive to animal rights, but I'll be damned if I am ready to let this country be lead by a Yeti!
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

I'd take Theodore Kaczynski - the Unibomber over Hillary Clinton.

I'm going for Edwards. If he doesn't make it, McCain.

And if they BOTH don't make it to the "finals," when I look at the other options so far, I'm not feeling overly confident.

I just hope Nader stays out of it.
Here we go again!

I've already decided that I'm voting for ME no matter who's on it. I figure I can't be any worse and at least I know where I stand.

I'm not sure you will be able to carry the electoral college with one vote . . .

I'll vote for Rich. Will two votes do it?

Not quite. But I will vote for Rich over Bigfoot--unless he is covered in body fur, has long fangs and some type of problem with being photographed in the wild.
