steep AND cheap!!

Since this forum is pretty closely tied with camping and the outdoors in general, I thought I would share a neat little website that might save you some money. http://www.steepandcheap.com is a website that sells many outdoor items, sunglasses, shoes, hats jackets, skis, tents, sleeping bags, watches, mini-stoves, boots, and many other crazy outdoor related items I cant even rememeber. The basis of the website is that they sell only ONE item at a time, but they sell it at an extreme discount, often times as much as 75% off. Once this item sells out, they put up a new one. This can take 5 minutes or a few hours, depending on their stock qty, and the popularity. To be honest, I am only interested in about 1 of 30 things I see, but, those things are at such a good price. High quality t-shirts for as low as 5 bucks, and other great deals. Don't be discouraged if you go a week without seeing something that interests you, keep checking!! I check it as often as I can throughout the day to see what I might be missing out on. Enjoy!!

Foe a good quality ski helmet that isn't over the top, but with speakers in the earcups that isn't a bad deal. I think their original price of $300 is a bit high, though.

They happened to have the hiking pack today that I had been meaning to get for my ladyfreind. It was $108 something marked down to $41. A few weeks ago I was ready to buy it for $108. In my rush to get it before it sold out, I clicked twice and bought two and that sold it out. Guess I have a new one too . That snowboard helmet is a bit pricey.. a good example of the stuff I have no need for.
