Vector Graphics Program

Has anyone tried this program: Inkscape

It is like Adobe Illustrator, only FREE! I have not tried it, but it looks like it is a really nice graphics program.

I comes for Linux, MAC (OS X), and Windows.

I have Inkscape on all my Linux boxes, but have never had to use it. Mostly, I use The Gimp for bit-mapped graphics.

I just got Sketchup (for Win/Mac), and that's a very interesting program. I got it because I was watching a video on the The Wood Whisperer about building an arts and crafts table, and he was using it. Looked easy, so I got it. It doesn't hurt that it's free and published by Google, either.

I downloaded it yesterday, but when I went to launch, it says I have to install an element off my system disk (Mac).

Will do if I ever get a chance to breathe here in the office.
Here we go again!
