eTrust EZ Antivirus...

I keep getting a message that says "I'm not online, or my settings are wrong" when I try to do an update. Looks to me that their downloader site isn't working.
Anybody else running this free software having the same problem???

I don't have your software,Dean,but I have Trend Micro. The 2007 version shuts down your internet connection if idle for a preset length of time. I have searched & searched the anti virus console for a way to change it,but can't. I guess an e-mail to Trend is in order. My AV has a little box that pops up stating "offline,Do you wish to reconnect" with a connect button. The reconnect button comes up after 5 minutes of being idle. I guess it's their way to shut down the computer from hack attemps.Otherwise my AV automaticly downloads 2-3 time a day. That on my AV I can not change. I can also download manually.Maybe they want you to set up the auto download??
