It took me over a year and a half to get around to fixing my car.

The one that died on the failed attempt into the Doug Zone.

I have a motor ready to go into it, now all I have to do is get a Doug proof transmission.

Methinks maybe a Muncy M22 Rock Crusher four speed may be the only thing that could stand up to the Doug Zone?

So far the Termack 6 speed in my 02 has survived several trips into the Doug Zone. 8) But I don’t think a Termack will fit under the 69.

Seems like most of these people with the transmission problems are FLATLANDERS!!!!  come on up Dan I'm thinking you need a Road Ranger in it...or better yet a 5 and a 4 to pull your tear around with!!!  Doug

See what I mean?....another FLATLANDER trying to use his transmission to crush rocks rather than what it was intended for....senseless and wanton destruction of a good piece of equipment...maybe they'll learn....I dunno... ;) Doug

How about a Rossler 350 auto--they hold up to drag racing REAL good, and if that is the bad engine in the picture, you wern't trying very hadd the valve covers don't have any escape holes coming thru them and the timing cover is still in one piece. You got to keep your foot in it if you want dramatic pictures.

Les, When the trans went I was just driving down the road then I entered the Doug Zone. I was trying to get my 1st look at his “Commit” and the “Road Titan” that was under construction. Little did I know that you must have ether a bullet proof trans or bring some offering for Doug, the great voodoo transmission brujo. For more info on this check out this tread
http://tnttt.com/viewto ... er&start=0
I am only posting this so that some other unsuspecting drive knows to bring an offering to the great Brujo if you enter into the Doug Zone. It doesn’t take much, just some home made cookies or a DVD to keep your trany safe.
