To promote the British release of The Simpsons Movie, a Homer has been painted (in biodegradable, water-soluble paint) next to the Cerne Abbas Giant, a huge (several hundred feet tall) man cut out of a chalk hillside in England about 400 years ago.

Most people are managing a good laugh at the idea (the Giant has even been 'stolen' for condom adverts before now), but he is a Pagan symbol and it turns out that the Pagans are not at all happy about the insult to their monument - though I think it's more of a tourist attraction than a Pagan monument these days.
You can't please all the people all the time....
However you can rely on this being a British summer, so rain will wash it away in a day or two.
