Service Trip to Umatilla Reservation OR.

Postby Ma3tt » Wed Aug 01, 2007 9:56 pm

I am taking 13 youth to the Umatilla Reservation in Oregon for 10 days 2300 miles round trip. This is a service trip and an amazing experience for the kids. 8 hours a day in a van full of teens is quite the thrill. I will try and give them a taste of Leo Kottke and Doc watson however I usually get schooled in new music. See you in a week or so....

here is a pic from last year in Tsaile AZ in front of a Hogan that we worked on...... Image

Many miles and many tears. Times were hard but now they're changing.
You should know that I'm not afraid.

No Santana?

You're going to hell for THIS one, buddy!

But what exactly is a Hogan?

I LIKE--but I never heard of it before.
Here we go again!
