2007 Hyundai Tucson 4 cy

We have had very good luck with Hyundai, we have had 2, so when we decided to get another [final] vehicle, we decided to get a Tuscon, it would pull the teardrop easily, and get great mileage.

It also looks as if it comes with some great stock features.

We plan on buying it new, does any one have any experience with this SUV, if so can you give us a honest feed back?

My best friend has a Tucson and she and I both love it. I have also driven it frequently and love the way it handles. The ride is good, seems pretty tight in the steering, as in very responsive. Well built, reliable and very versatile. She has kept the back seats down most of the time to act as a cargo area for her large dog. Hauls a lot. Love the heated seats and sunroof. She does not have a hitch on it yet, so no experience with hauling. She has excellent pickup, but she does have a 6cyl. So I suspect your pickup will lag a little, but you definitly will get better gas mileage. Love it, love it. A good buy. I was with her car shopping and we liked this model the best. Warranty is also great. You won't be sorry.

I have the 2005 Santa Fe. A nice SUV - pulls the teardrop with no problem - but the gas mileage is not that great.

Question is - would I buy another? And my answer is YES.

Have fun

No experence with the Tucson, but plenty with Hyundai. I'm on my 4th one now. Never had any big issues with any of them.

The Tucson shares some parts with the Elantra (which I have had three of). The 4cly version is the same BetaII that is in the Elantra. Good motor, but if you go with the 4 with an auto trans, you deff need to look at getting a trans cooler if you want to pull a tear.
