Looks a lot like the critter that was killed here in Lufkin a year or so back. I think it was determined that the animal was a malnurished coyote/dog mix with mange
Dunno
It is rather ugly isn't it.................

Hey, hey let's not make light of the Pirates in the trees. We will be looking for them again in November. I will have my beer googles on for protection this time however
The messed up part is I was not the only one who saw them either.

I was warned about those pirates in the trees last year, but Woody got drunk, fell asleep, and nothing ever happened.
Here we go again!

Actually the locals say it she found one of her neighbors' experiments. One of the guys down there is cross breading greyhounds with wolves or coyotes. You should see how crazy the folks down there are for this thing. Their local fall festival (The Turkey Trot) featured that woman showing off the head in a cooler. Apparently it was a big draw. And her "Summer of the Chupacabra" t-shirts are selling like hotcakes. But as my aunt said "they're cheap and ugly".

The chupacabra ("goat sucker") is an animal said to be unknown to science and systemically killing animals in places like Puerto Rico, Miami, Nicaragua, Chile, and Mexico. The creature's name originated with the discovery of some dead goats in Puerto Rico with puncture wounds in their necks and their blood allegedly drained.

Do a google search and you will get some pictures! http://images.google.com/images?q=+Chup ... s&ct=title
