Snow in a small town

Postby kajamelu4 » Sat Dec 29, 2007 1:44 am

This has absolutly nothing to do with teardrops. Just thought it was funny. The nearest town to my home is a little over 7 miles away, and only 1400 people. Everyone here knows everyone else. And everyone else's business if you know what I mean. We had about 5 inches of snow this week, something we don't see every winter. Anyway, a local family (living in town) came home from work to find 'someone' had built them a snowman on the front lawn. Well.....not actually the whole 'snowman', just the part that makes it a man. :o

During the day, we were above freezing so most of the snow melted, except for any piled up. So you can guess what was left on their lawn! Yep, about 8 feet long. The cops showed up, demanding removal of their snow scupture.
Oh yeah, I know who worked on the art piece. There are no secrets in a small town.

Sorry. I didn't get any picutures. I always find out everything late.

Now, wonder how I knew that question would be asked?

Oh, and I will pass your questions on to the 'artists'. (Some friends of my daughter.)

Hey Karol,

Why didn't they tell the police that it was a statue of George Washington, Abe Lincoln, or even  Bill Clinton, that the sun melted in a funny way and made it look like what it looked like.  :R

Ok. Saw a picture this evening. No doubt what it was intended to be! :o

And since this is a family friendly forum, there will be no posting of the picture. Not a 'G' rated photo, not by a long shot!

(And I have to say, it was bigger than I thought it would be.)
