Regular unleaded in my area ranges from $3.15 to $3.39 a gallon. That is within several blocks of each other. I saw Super unleaded for $3.99 at one station.

Price of gas

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Mon Feb 25, 2008 6:42 pm

:o Wow, you folks have been under $3 for a while. Haven't seen that around here in years now. Our local average has been about $3.50, with my car filling up on premium for anywhere from $3.69 to $3.89. Please remember this if you are traveling to our area for the IRG. Gas prices here have been in the top 5 highest bracket for some time now. Save a bit extra cuz you never know what the summer might bring.

It's still $2.93 around the corner. I noticed that it was going up at other gas stations so I filled up last week and caught it at $2.85. The next day they had it at $2.93.

With 40 billion in profits for 2007 why is it that Exxon hasn't paid it's fine for the Exxon Valdez oil spill? That was nearly twenty years ago and they still owe almost half of the 5 billion they were fined!
