recently a track that is semi local to here got some attention from the local news stations. me being in the hobby of rc car racing makes this kinda a big deal to me as this is something that doesnt get much attention at all.

Plus the vid is kinda funny :)

I've always loved those and the othe rc toys.. planes and boats... Its sad to see that things like that have taken a back seat to video games and the like.

Amy Hadley, such the cutie. ;) This is nothing compared to some of the other things they've had her do.

I used to drive by that place all the time, but I never went there. I put my T-maxx away because something broke, It's been so long that I forgot what was broken.

I worked with a guy several years ago that did 1/4 scale RC car races in North of Joplin. The car just fit in the bed of his Nissan truck with a camper shell on it. He would race on weekends and make enough money winning the races that it would pay for his car and truck fule with traveling expensives up and back. He ran a chainsaw motor. 8)

I wonder where Jim is now. Probly still racing if they still have it.

Yeah, that's really cool. Me and my buddies built a mega-track down next to the Colorado in Bastrop when we were in high school. Lotsa fun. I still have my old Traxxas Eagle. I fired it up a couple of years ago after sitting for like 12 years or so. The first curb it hit disintegrated the plastic bits, guess it gets brittle with age. Still wouldn't mind trying it out again. RR is on my way home from work. I'll go check the track out this week.
