New Vehicle

We acquired a new gas saver, today.

I'm thinking it might not work out as a tow vehicle, though.

I was thinking about getting a scooter for work but I would get run off the road or run over if I tried to ride it to work.

I use to have a 750 Virago and sold it because it became too dangerous to ride.

I haven' t taken it on any roads straight enough to test the top speed, yet. However, it climbs over 60MPH easily and has plenty more to go. I would guess somewhere in the 80-85 range for top end. (Wind resistance limited.)

The MPG is estimated to be 70 MPG. A license is required in NC.
It's a 4 stroke engine and liquid cooled.
Mainly, it's FUN to ride.

I have a 1400 cc bike and I get about 35-40 mpg, my daugher has a 250, thats 55-60 mpg.

I know a Soldier that has one of these. 45 mph to speed, and get this... he says he gets over 100 mpg

Here is my two wheeler these days,
Goes about 15MPH and about 15 miles on a charge if you don't run it wide open.

They don't make baskets for them so I got a office file folder holder and mounted it behind the seat.

Bruce, Honda made the Ruckus in a 250 engine for two years and then discontinued it, but kept the 50cc model. I like the Honda's but they are way too expensive. What is your 1400 cc bike?

We will play with this new one until we talk ourselves into something bigger.

my 1400 is a Suzuki Intruder... here it is, not quite finished yet. But it will be shortly after I get home!





and here is my daughters 250... this bike is 28 years old. I found it sitting behind a shed. I ask my daughter how she wanted it, chopper, bobber, enduro... what? she said she wanted it restored to the way it was new. I couldn't fine an exhaust, I had to weld one up myself, that's why it isn't chrome. but everything else is just as it was new.
