Rest in Peace Daisy...

Postby doug hodder » Fri May 16, 2008 7:02 pm

Sorry if this is a downer, but as part of my grieving process I had to tell my friends, and well, you all are some of my best friends. I had to take care of Daisy today. The cancer had really spread and it was just going to be a matter of a short time.

To those of you that have camped with me and my dog, I'm sure you knew that we were pretty tight and thank you for all your kindness towards her. She was a special pup to me. We camped for nearly 13 years and maybe 100 trips in all. I'll miss her dearly. Doug

Doug..I'm so sorry for your loss..I been there many times over the years, and it never gets any easier.
if I can offer any advise, just remember the good times and always believe she had the best life a doggy could possibly imagine.

Doug, I am so sorry to hear about Daisy. I never got to meet her but I am saddened by the news. Since she had cancer you know she is at peace now. It is always hardest on the ones left behind and I wish I could do something to make you feel better. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, after all she was family to you.
