Did anyone find a digital camera at Dam Gathering??

Postby sftiggee » Tue Jun 03, 2008 3:50 pm

Hey all,

We have not been able to find our digital camera since the Dam Gathering, and we're fearing that we may have dropped it during the Saturday night festivities.

Did anyone there happen to find a light purple digital camera? I really have forgotten the brand, I want to say Casio. The pictures were of my son's first birthday party, including an adorable video of him eating his first cheesecake. There are also pics of our trailer and car at the Gathering and some other various photos. Needless to say, we're desperate to find the camera!!

If anyone happened to have found it, please let me know. I only want the digital card, you can keep the camera.

Thanks!!!

Good luck finding your camera. If someone here didn't find it, you might keep your eye on the following website:

I know it's a long shot, but if the finder was tech-savvy (and honest) it might end up here.

Sorry about the lost memories.

As a pro photographer, I worry much more about my images than the expensive cameras that I use. That's why I always upload my images onto a laptop on-site, and burn a CD or DVD as soon as possible.

I know hundreds of people who leave images on their cameras for months before uploading them. That's scares me.

I hope you find the camera -- or at least the pictures.

Thanks all. I thought we had uploaded the pictures after his birthday party, but found out they hadn't been uploaded yet. Normally we upload asap after a picture taking event. We'll keep looking, we are really hoping we just lost it somewhere in the house or garage while unpacking the trailer.

Missing Camera

Postby The Teardrop Nanny » Tue Jun 03, 2008 6:05 pm

Jolene,
Did you check with the main office at Antler's to see if someone turned it in to their lost and found? I hope it turns up....TDN

Hey I had been thinking about this just a couple of days ago. Did you ever find your camera?

Nope, no camera:( Antlers didn't have it in their lost and found, so if I lost it there, it never got turned in. Bummer deal:(

I hope the camera turns up somewhere. I put a P-touch label on my electronics with my cell phone number on it. Should I accidently drop or loose it, the finder has an option to call my cell phone. I personally have not lost any equipment, but have put labels on other peoples cameras as a suggestion. One of my cousins retrieved a camera, and was grateful for my suggestion.
