Well i know i haven't been around much lately but I wanted to drop in and give you an update. Well after being out of work for over 3 months I have been offered and accepted a position with our local Hospital. I first applied for this job right after being laid off and really thought it would never happen! It doesn't quite pay what i was making but the benefits are far better and there is lots of room for advancement in my field of experience. I go in for my physical today and start Monday! Anyway just thought i would share my good news!

Great news! Congratulations.
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

I remember when Cindi got laid off once (her position was eliminated) and how hard it was for her to find another job similar to the one she had. Computer tech jobs were hard to come by. I also remember the joy when she finally found a new one. Here's to sharing that joy with you!

:applause: :applause:  We were wondering if the rain swept you away down there. Glad to hear you found a position that may go somewhere. I know affordable benefits are as good as money these days.

Great news Craig !!!!

I haven't had to deal with a jobless situation for many years ( knock wood ), but I can remember how stressful and how hard it was on my family. And also how great it felt when I started to work again.

Good luck!!!! I hope the job works out for you!!!
