Candy from your "good old days"

Postby cccamper » Wed Jul 23, 2008 6:35 am

Whatever they may be. 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s

:relaxing:
Don't know if you long for candy from "back when", but if you haven't seen them, there are sites that carry MANY of them.

Thought a Teardrop in a Halloween weekend might like "vintage" candy. And they are NOT politically correct. I loved the candy cigarettes... white and minty flavor. Also the chocolate wrapped in paper. You can buy them. Never have smoked cigarettes but sure had fun in our game playing with them.

My favorite.. although anymore shipping will make a site #1!

You can buy a boxful, or make up your own bags of many different items and the charge is simply per item. Also decades broken down from 50s - 80s. Special occasions.

Just found and not sure what is their stand-out feature.

This site seems to have more specialities for occasion... from Beach Party theme to Mexican Fiesta, Carnival, and of course all special days from Father's Day to Christmas and Halloween

Kinda hot to order now where we live. Now that I MUST have some King Leo Soft Peppermint Sticks in the nice round can!

I've always like razzles and bottle caps. They aren't common but can still be found in local stores.

MOJO'S!!! We used to get them here in our grocery's stores bulk section but they stopped carrying them.

Also like the neopolian taffy, forget the name.

We have a couple stores here in Canada, (Toronto) that carries some of the "old" candy....... Sugar Mountain

I'm heading to TO this weekend for a Jays game so I might have to stop in....

I, too, remember the candy cigs in the mid-70's that had "smoke" inside but you had to blow THROUGH them to make them smoke!

Another 70's thing I remember.......... Wacky Packages!! I loved those things!!!
