Macintosh users

I know we have a few mac users. I wonder if anyone knows where I can get an "S" key for my ibook G4 13". I've popped it off and can see the little pins holding it are missing.

BTW, what do you think of the iTouch ipod? It can surf the web with wifi and can load movies.

I've always had great luck with smalldog.com for component Mac parts. If they don't have what you need, they should be able to point you in the right direction.

I haven't used the Touch, but I have an iPhone 3G, which is basically the same thing (except with a phone). I love mine, but web surfing can be a bit tedious because of the small screen size. Lots of panning and zooming, and the keyboard takes some getting used to.

Good luck!

I keep getting this popup

and I have never seen it before and can't get it to stop. Is it connected with this site or any suggestions appreciated.

Your Mac is trying to sync up with your .Mac account, but is having problems. It's possible that you have the Sync features for .Mac enabled, and the system is trying to connect to your iDisk. If so, you may be able to get rid of the messages by disabling the iMac sync features. These can be found in System Preferences .Mac pane. The Sync tab and iDisk tab both have such features.

If you're having troubles with your .Mac account (now called MobileMe), here is the support link.

Good luck!

Not yet, but it should be on its way, thanks for the help. Of course if it was broken, I would just have to buy a NEW laptop,
That's not in the budget this year

I just got a thumb drive to transport word files to/from work. I tried .mac/me but it just wasn't working too smooth. Mac/firefox at home and pc/explorer at work. At home I just open and make changes but at work it d/l. Make changes then saved and tried to upload. It just wasn't working and put 0020% where spaces in file name. Macs are still more intuitive. IMHO. ;)
