Excel question

Postby Mary K » Mon Sep 22, 2008 12:03 am

Isn't there a generic free software available that will open an excel spreadsheet? I know there is...I think...but I can not remember. :?

I have a spreadsheet (LCG Name Tag List) That I started at work, but I need to finish here at home.

Thanks!! :D

I think that open office will open older versions of excel spread files not sure about newer ones.

Mary,

Do a Google search for "Excel Alternatives" should be something there that might help.

MK, I use Open Office and have no problems opening Excel spread sheets with it...in fact OO is the only "Word" alternative I use...

Your welcome. Good luck. And don't feel bad about the not finding the program. We professionals even need time to familiarize ourselves with new software.

If you are using crayons and construction paper, why do you need Excel?
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).
