As some here may or may not know i do a little airbrushing. my medium of choice is the clear shells for rc cars. kinda took my hobby and turned it into a job.

Well there is a forum that is dedicated to the shooting of these bodies and they had a little comtest that was put on by a company that makes paint and bodies for these. i entered and did pretty well.

Today on another forum a friend posted a pic he took of a magazine that he recieved today.

I've been painting R/C bodies for over 20 years. It is a GREAT feeling when you get one just the way you wanted it to be.

Nice work :applause:

Congrats.. I bought a Badger 150 a few decades back. I was getting somewhat ok with it... No where near the level you are at. I was orginally going to use it for painting guitars I built.... too many hobbies, too little time.

Congratulations! :applause:

With all that talent, I'm surprised you haven't decided to do a special paint job on your tear!

i was really thinking of doing just that, but opted to do something more generic with it since i wont have this forever (thinking of the time i sell it)

i had several ideas from true fire to a ripper revealing what would be inside it.

Congrats Looped.

It's hard enough to paint on a flat surface, but you paint on a car shell. Wow. We are not worthy.
