Vote freebies

If you missed this story in this morning's paper, here's a heads up.
There are a number of businesses giving out
Free food items for people who vote today(November 4th 2008).

Ben & Jerry's scoop shops will be giving out free scoops of ice cream from 5 to 8 p.m.

Krispy Kreme is giving out free doughnuts.

Starbucks is giving out free coffee (the stand alone stores only, not the ones in malls or Barnes & Noble stores).

Be sure to hang onto your "I voted" sticker as proof that you voted.

is good enough to be given a square deal afterwards." -------Theodore Roosevelt

Can't stand Krispy Kreme, don't drink coffee and the ice cream cones at King Cone are huge, they need to give away somethin' good.

Well, well, well......... I just heard on the news that a shop in Kirksville, MO is giving away a free body piercing if you have a "I Voted" sticker and McCoy's resturant/bar in Westport in KC is giving away a free beer. Now THERE'S something I could sink my teeth into........ uh, the beer part not the piercing   !!!

Dear Steve,

Paying people to vote is is a federal crime! I bet no one except sore losers (whoever they are) will prosecute.

Our county went to mail in and we don't get the stickers any more. I kind of miss them.
