mozilla/firefox... can't bookmark any more

I got an update for mozilla, now I can't save bookmarks any longer.

If anyone has a solution, I'd appreciate it...

If bookmarks and toolbar buttons are working properly when you first start the computer and open Firefox, but no longer work after you close and later reopen Firefox, this can occur if Firefox did not exit properly the last time you closed it. Symptoms in the new Firefox session include bookmarks disappearing or not saving, history not saving and toolbar buttons such as Back and Forward not working. If you are having these problems, try the solutions listed below.

Not knowing what rev of Mozilla Firefox you have I would suggest you go to
the forum that discusses troubles such as what you are having. Someone
there is bound to have knowledge that will help you.

This is the forum you should join and ask questions if you can't find the
answer in the knowledge or forum data bases. Remember to use the two
search boxes to the right of the Firefox Forum start page.
Information gathering Go to the help at the top of the Firefox window and click
"About Mozilla FireFox" to get the version you are on. This will prove
important when figuring out what the answer is to your issues.

These people are very helpful in my opinion and your question should
be answered with alacrity one way or the other.
