So Im thinking of building my first tt and I will be pulling it with my 96 Geo Tracker. Just want people to show me their pics, and tell me some stories, how well they do/ or dont do. I know you are out there. Thanks

Everyone I've known that has had one said they were very good at going round in circles in the snow. Don't know anybody personally that's had the nerve to pull anything with one.

While it's not a tracker, it is a really small SUV...

And a rather large teardrop...

There's several members out there pulling with a Geo Tracker --- my teardrop is not quite road ready yet --- needs a few more things, lights wired and then I'm off.....I'm very pleased with the way it looks. To begin with I'll certainly be towing with my Tracker (1995). When I have the bucks then I will get a hitch installed on my MINI Cooper I'll also be able to tow with that. That's the reason my NAPSACK is red -- to match the Tracker-- and Vanilla to match the MINI.

Ira had a tracker, but he lost interest in teardrop, and now hangs out on a political forum. I've not seen any other trackers here...

You won't settle for pics of small SUV's eh?

lol small suvs are ok, I just wanted to get a feel of a design for my teardrop.since a Tracker is what I will be pulling it with. Also, I was just curious as to where he got those teardrop doors. I like the all glass look.

I bought the windows (HEHR) on ebay and then made the frame up for them to sit in. They actually turned out better than I thought they would...they are very strong and a great fit.

I used to use a Samurai to pull a snowmobile trailer. The trailer could be fitted for either motorcycles or a small sunfish sailboat. Neither were very areodynamic. It had a 1300cc engine vs the 1600 in the Sidekick. You are limited to 1000lbs towing capacity so a teardrop is doable. You just had to be careful going downhill as the trailer had a tendancy to push the car a bit. It wasn't too bad but you do need to pay attention.
