Any T&TTTers in So Calif. fires?

I was just wondering if there are any of our trailer friends in the midst of the many wild fires we are presently having here in So Calif. It fortifies my contension that they can be used for temporary emergency shelter, no matter what the reason.......Best to keep 'em stocked and ready to go.

Boy the pictures they have been showing are pretty bad. I hope everyone is fine and my heart goes out to those two firefighters families. My parents and my brother have been here in Phoenix and are heading back to L.A. today from the heat to the smoke.

I called my step family in LA, last night, after they showed the fire in Tujunga. They live about 5 miles from there. They are fine but said the smoke is awful, especially in the morning.

we're getting ashes raining down on us, but we're not in danger. we have a friend who is closer to the fires and so far the evacuations are one block away from him. we offered our trailer for him to stay in, in case he has to evacuate (our home is tiny and our travel trailer has served us well as a guest house).
