Tiger's accident

Postby Kurt (Indiana) » Sat Nov 28, 2009 8:41 am

I wonder what club Tiger's wife used to smash out the window to "help rescue" him from the car wreck.

There is a lot more to this story and as it develops, I won't be surprised to hear that Tiger was trying to escape an "enraged wifey" with a 5 iron in her hand. :x

It's hard to believe that you can hit a fire plug and then a tree (without alcohol) at 2 am and not have a good story behind the scenes.

This should be interesting.

Sister-in-law called, apparently they brought him to the hospital where she works. One thing I noticed, he was driving a Caddy... Not a Buick.

I heard the wife was chasing him with the club and smashed the back window before he crashed.

Call me a pessimist but I bet he had a few pops, got into an argument with his wife, said "I'm outta here", jumped in the car, she grabs a 9 iron, (as emiller says) smashes the window... he tears out of there and crashes. :tipsy:

I wouldn't worry 'bout Tiger too much, he's got Elin to lick his wounds. ;)

If they charge him with some driving offense, maybe he can use the 'twinkie defense".

Cheers,

Gus

My father ran over a fire hydrant once -- in my car. :(

He said it is about the most embarrassing accident one can have -- the geyser draws a lot of attention.

He wasn't drunk -- hadn't had a drop to drink. He was looking over at a house with a for sale sign near his, and drifted off the road and over the hydrant (no curb on that road).

Hey, at least Tiger isn't claiming a low flying pelican startled him.

I can imagine the "good news, bad news" talk at Buick on Monday will be interesting.

Well maybe she had the 9 iron and was chasing him and he drove off the road to miss her  Or he was trying to hit her and she hid first behind a hydrant and then behind a tree........... 8)

I really would hate it if my life was so public...........

I agree, 2 for 99cents made with some kind of meat (we say that it's kangaroo). There is no Jack-in-the-Crack in FL though.
