Snow in Texas

Postby planovet » Wed Dec 02, 2009 10:15 am

We don't get snow all that much down here so it was a surprise when I woke up this morning to large flakes falling out of the sky. And the temp was still above freezing. :snowstorm:

Also, I opened the paper and a headline said "Dare we say it? Snow forecast for Friday". I think they missed it by a couple of days. I wish I could be that wrong on my job.

The same front just passed thru Southern NM it stuck around for a few days. Even El Paso got snow now that is really impossible. Have fun making snow men.

Mark, the things you can do in Photoshop are amazing!

Snow in Texas. I am in stitches. You are such a prankster! :laughter:
Still graced with two eyes and ten fingers (due in no small part to luck!).

Just when you think a problem is solved, an uglier result replaces it.

If it snowed down here it all melted before I drug myself out of bed. It is wet and cold out there though.

There is supposed to be another system move through on Friday. Only a 20% chance of snow but its supposed to be our first hard freeze of the year. Lows in the mid 20s.

Someone did a snappy job of shoveling the sidewalks, driveways, streets...anywhere there wasn't grass...

The one thing I like about Texas snow is that it makes everyones yard look the same! no mowing or raking at least for a day

The best thing I like about snow in Texas is hearing about 100 car pileups in Amarillo like they had a few years ago!! Although I miss my home state!!

Holy cow, Rose is a teenager now! Done? Surely you jest. A teardrop is never "done".

282 days without measurable snow here in Syracuse, NY. Now that's weird!
